We’re crazy about bamboo, but for some, this doesn’t scratch their itch. For them, we’ve gone to lengths to develop the plant-based Humble Brush that both looks and feels like a regular plastic toothbrush while reducing fossil-based plastic by 45%. The handle is made using wheat starch as a key ingredient, and the bristles are made of high-quality, BPA-free Nylon with 65% plant-based materials from caster beans.

 

 

 

Handle made of a mix of plant-based materials (wheat starch as main ingredient) and polypropylene (PP).

Add a small dab of your favorite natural Humble toothpaste on the bristles. Brush tenderly to clean and expel plaque.
Dentists recommend the 2/2 rule: brush for 2 minutes in the morning and 2 minutes at night.

Product: In most countries, toothbrushes (of any material) are not recyclable in the curbside recycling system. We recommend checking with your local recycling facility to see if they have a solution for PLA/PP-mixed materials.

Packaging: The cardboard box and inside bag can be recycled as paper.

Sensory Requirements Met

I have sensory issues meaning that I can't stand the feeling of wet wood, so had been using plastic toothbrushes for years as all eco friendly options I'd seen wouldn't have worked for me. This one however is working well, it's not perfect, there's a slight almost powdery feel to the surface, but it's good enough for me to be able to manage using. Very happy, I will be buying again.

The brush really is soft which is wonderful for sensitive gums. Love the colors and the plant based material. Feels just like a plastic brush so it's great for those who don't really like the feel of bamboo.

the brush is good and very soft as my gum like it. Plus it fits good in my hand.
I put four stars because the brush is not fully made of plant. You would say " go for the bamboo brush" yes but the brush is not as good as this one for the softness and the gum
