This is a basic toothbrush.
It does what it’s meant to – clean your teeth, properly. For those who prefer the look and feel of a classic plastic brush, this one’s for you — but with less impact.

The handle is made using plant-based materials, with wheat starch as a key ingredient, reducing fossil-based plastic by 45%. The bristles are BPA-free nylon, made with 65% plant-based materials from castor beans.

Handle made of a mix of plant-based materials (wheat starch as main ingredient) and polypropylene (PP).
Nylon bristles.
Stainless steel clamps.

Add a small dab of your favorite natural Humble toothpaste on the bristles. Brush tenderly to clean and expel plaque.
Dentists recommend the 2/2 rule: brush for 2 minutes in the morning and 2 minutes at night.

Product: In most countries, toothbrushes (of any material) are not recyclable in the curbside recycling system. We recommend checking with your local recycling facility to see if they have a solution for PLA/PP-mixed materials.

Packaging: The cardboard box and inside bag can be recycled as paper.

Decent small toothbrush

Good small size brush, gets into the corners with ease. Small raised bristles at the end of one side allow you to really reach into the 'hard to reach' spots.

This is my third brush, very pleased overall.

Plant-based toothbrushes

I converted a few months ago from electric to humble brushes for several reasons;
1. Electric toothbrushes are NOT environmentally friendly & they rely on a cynical model of cheaper hand devices but over-priced brush heads.
2. Electric brush-heads aren’t always suitable for sensitive teeth & appropriate heads aren’t always available.
3. Humble toothbrushes work out cheaper than electric.
4. They ARE for sensitive teeth & they ARE made for a sensitive planet.
Brilliant, in my humble opinion!!!!!!!
