I had been looking at the harp floss picks in the shops and saw how much plastic i would be buying. I went online and found these and they are brilliant! The double strand floss really helps and my dentist is very impressed.
Just received these floss picks and tried them out. They work very well, so functionally and valu-wise they are excellent.
However, I chose this product because I wanted something that would not add to the existing plastic waste problem and I found the description a bit misleading here. How are they eco-friendly exactly?
They are made from a blend of corn starch and polypropylene plastic, which is not biodegradable. So how do we dispose of them? Cannot compost!
The box has a heading "100 % recycleable" but it says "the box is made from paper". So are the picks resycleable I ask? I am thinking the answer is No, as they are a blend of plastic and cellulose.l, somthry can't be made into a new plastic product.
Guys, come on and stop misleading us. Make the same product from a biodegradable material!
These are great. My only concern is they were delivered from Germany to UK, which isn’t a good carbon footprint. Can someone in UK please distribute them
I'm very impressed with these flossers. The shape of these particular ones does not suit me, but I've already ordered the 'grip handle' shape from you again. So good to be able to use a flosser such as this without the daily plastic waste.
Gute ökologische Alternative!
